JOBIM, the annual French conference in bioinformatics and biostatistics, will be held from Tuesday June 25th to Friday June 28th, 2024, in Toulouse, France, on the campus of the Paul Sabatier University. We are doing our best to make the conference as welcoming and accessible as possible, while offering a state-of-the-art scientific program.
A semi-hybrid JOBIM
JOBIM 2024 will be a live event with direct on-line transmission: speakers and poster presenters are invited to join us in Toulouse, but it will also be possible to attend the oral sessions via tele-transmission and to access the posters digitally for a reduced fee. Due to the size of the auditorium, up to 450 seats will be available on site.
A scientific program for you and by you
The program committee is planning:
a call for mini-symposia: opening early December, closing mid-January 2024
a call for oral contributions: opening 13th of February 2024, closing 22nd of March 2024
a call for posters: opening March/April 2024, closing April/May 2024
Mini-symposia
With a duration of 2 hours, the mini-symposia will bring together scientists to discuss a specialized bioinformatics theme (in the broadest sense). You can consult the symposia organized in 2022 and 2023.
Please note that symposia must be self-funding: you will be asked to commit to this funding (which sources? how much?) at the time of submission. SFBI may provide a small grant to support the organization of these symposia.
We encourage you to apply as soon as possible for financial support from the various bodies, in particular from the following GDRs: GDR AIEM and GDR GE.
